Bunhill Fields is a small meeting, generally about a dozen on any given Sunday. We welcome visitors, and people come from far and wide to visit the historic Quaker burial ground. The meeting house is the remaining part of the Bunhill memorial buildings, partially destroyed during the second world war. The meeting room is accessed via a short set of stairs, downstairs are located the toilet facilities and children’s room. It is helpful to let the Clerk know in advance if you are bringing children to the meeting. We regret that there is no wheelchair access.
The meeting house is located in the Quaker Gardens- the burial ground has recently been landscaped. Work continues with the Community Gardening scheme volunteers helping to maintain the site. Brigid Phillips has recently been nominated as EC1 Pride in our People awards Volunteer of the year for her work with the scheme. Amongst the new additions is a refurbished children’s playground, garden area and wild flower area.
