Four monthly all-day Saturday workshops: 2011
10.0 refreshments for 10.30 am start – 4.30 tea for 5.0 pm finish.
Workshops will be participatory with input, group-work and reflection.

Saturday 12th November: EARLY QUAKER WOMEN led by Elaine Hobby
Professor of English and Drama at Loughborough University, lecturer, researcher, author and editor of Seventeenth Century Women’s writings.
Also Lover of Souls, an afternoon performance based on the journals of ELIZABETH HOOTON, George Fox’s mentor, by actress Lynn Morris.

Saturday 10th December: ISAAC PENINGTON led by Rosemary Moore
Teacher, lecturer, researcher and author: Knowing the Mystery of Life Within: selected writings of Isaac Penington, with R. Melvin Keiser;
The Light in Their Consciences: Early Quakers in Britain 1646-1666; editor of The History of the Life of Thomas Ellwood.
