Ripple of water

"Our religious experience leads us to place a special value on truth, equality, simplicity and peace. These testimonies, as they are known, are lived rather than written. They lead Quakers to translate their faith into action by working locally and globally for social justice, to support peacemakers and care for the environment."

Seeking accommodation

London Friends, please see the below appeal from Jennifer Rioux of Tucson, Arizona

We are a Quaker family (single mother and two children) traveling to London to attend the 2012 Olympics (probably 31/7-11/8/2012.) We are looking for a house swap situation or an inexpensive rental/ sublet for this brief period. We live in Tucson, AZ (near the Grand Canyon/ Mexico and many ancient Native American sites) and attend Pima Monthly Meeting. Before that we attended the Chapel Hill Meeting in North Carolina. Mom is a lifelong Quaker and attended both George School in Newtown, PA and Friends World College. Thank you so much.

Please contact Jennifer via the Contact form below if you are able to help
