Volunteer at the Quaker Centre
A message from Amanda Woolley, the Quaker Centre manager:
In the Quaker Centre. at Friends House we are lucky to have an active group of ten volunteers who assist by meeting enquirers, helping with various bookshop tasks, and by lending out resources to Meetings.
We would like to encourage some more volunteer Friends to come forward, partly in order to fill in gaps in our rota during the week. Most volunteers offer one half day a week although some choose to do more. We would particularly welcome offers for Monday evening (from August) 6-8 and for Saturdays between 9 and 4 (offering one Saturday a month). We also need frequent cover for holiday and other absences during the week.
We offer free tea or coffee, lunch and travel expenses.
