Ripple of water

"Our religious experience leads us to place a special value on truth, equality, simplicity and peace. These testimonies, as they are known, are lived rather than written. They lead Quakers to translate their faith into action by working locally and globally for social justice, to support peacemakers and care for the environment."

On the plinth

Bridgend Quakers won 1 hour on the plinth at Trafalgar Square on 13th July, as part of Anthony Gormley’s project. (weblink below)

Peter Davies of Bridgend Meeting took the northwest plinth from 5pm – 6pm.

Friends from many Meetings were there in number, worshipping and supporting and enjoying the lovely, mild summer evening.
